Please describe the adversity she has encountered and how she overcome it, and why she, and her business will be better for it. Describe the positives to come from the experience and how beyond 2011 will pan out because of it.

2.       The Impact Award: Sponsored by The Mumpreneur Shop
The winner of this award will have been in business for less than 12 months. The business will be able to show clear success in a small amount of time as well as provision for further growth, and promises to be one to watch in the coming years. This is the ultimate start up award.

3.       The Innovator Award: Sponsored by YUU World
Awarded to the business owner who has shown an incredible amount of innovation during 2011, either through inventing a groundbreaking product or through use of genius marketing tactics. The winner of this award will be one very switched on business start up cookie

4.       The Advocate Award: Sponsored by Your Little Monkey
This category is not exclusive for start ups. Goes to a distinguished supporter of other mums in business. Whether it is her business to support others or she is a genuine good egg whose advice is always sound and who is always ready to offer a helping hand or supportive words of encouragement. You must show clear evidence of how this mum supports others and why she should be considered for this award.

5.       Business Mum of the Year: Sponsored by SnoozeShade
This category is not exclusive for start ups. If you are a start up business, you may use this category to recognise another mum in business as the overall business mum of the year. She must have excelled in many areas, made a difference in other peoples lives, provide an excellent product or service and be heads above her competition. She must be inspirational, and continue to inspire others as a business woman and mother. This is an opportunity for start up mums to nominate an established business-mum.

6.       The annual PR Challenge
This is for business owners to nominate themselves. You must not use a PR agent and must provide evidence of all PR activities throughout 2011. A points-based scoring system will be used to decide the winner. You do not have to be a start up.
