I am asked regularly if I can connect people on twitter; mums who are new to mumsclub or twitter, or indeed both benefit greatly if we put them in touch with other mums who are tweeting and running businesses.
So, as well as the #mumsclubmonday we hold, new for 2012 we are starting a #bizmumfollow .
Starting on Monday the 16th January, all you need to do is log into twitter and simply post to us @mumsclub #bizmumfollow – doing this indicates that you are a mum in business, wanting to connect with others, and you will follow everyone else who does the same.
You will be able to run a search on the hashtag #bizmumfollow and will easily be able to quickly go through the list and follow everyone else.
If it’s popular we’ll run it every week so you can meet new people, and increase your followers. So I hope it helps, see you on Twitter!
Oh and one other thing, make sure you do tweet with other people you connect with, networking is the key to business success and Twitter is a superb platform for doing so. But it can be hard for to dip their toes into the world of twitter, so posting a ‘hello, what do you do?’ is a great way to get those freshly painted toes wet…
