Do you get that mid afternoon shiny face too?

This week has been hectic! Getting an MBE really does mean you lose your life for a few days, it may be longer – I’ll let you know.

But on Wednesday, I had yet another photoshoot, this one was in the afternoon when my mirror told me I needed one of those pressed powder things, I knew I had one somewhere – you know one of those  make up items that you have for years, never use it and then can’t find it when you need it NOW?

Well I gave up looking for my pressed face powder and made do with other means of removing that shiny mid afternoon look, but told myself I must get a new pressed powder…

So today I was simply amazed to receive one in the post. Donna, who decides which products our review panel get to put to test had one sent to me to try, I am so excited at this and have whipped it open already and I must say I love it, already.

I’m in good company as the Corn Silk Translucent Loose and pressed powder, I’m told, is a vintage beauty secret used by women since the late 1960′s. Make up artist Aimee Adams says it’s the only face powder she uses on her famous faces who include Fearne Cotton, Pixie Lott, Elle Macphearson and Ellie Goulding.

It is the ultimate weapon against shiny complexons to give a long lasting, flawless finish that doesn’t clog up your pores.

So if you’re looking for a similar weapon, you can pick it up in Boots and leading pharmacies from just £7.40.

Happy days!

Congrats Jane! I was so proud to be showing a new business mum this page then discover you had been awarded an MBE. Talk about social proof!
