What are the key features of the products or services that your business offers:
Organic baby clothes, skincare and lifestyle products.

Why should customers and clients use your services?
We offer lovely quality, beautiful organic products that have been ethically manufactured and we are very proud of our exceptional, go-the-extra-mile customer service.

When & how did you start up in business?
We launched our online shop in November 2008  after carefully researching our niche, finding some fantastic suppliers and setting up our website.

How did you decide what business to go into, and what was your motivation?
We realise the importance of using organic products for our young families and endeavoured to source a great range of affordable products for our customers.

What were the most challenging aspects to setting up?
Developing the website ourselves whilst being self-confessed luddites!

What has been your biggest business achievement?
See above! Also, building and maintaining a loyal base of customers.

Have, or do you do anything out of the ordinary to benefit your business?
We attend various trade fayres and have set up a facebook group to promote our business.

What stage is your business at now & what are your plans for the future?
We are a very new company and hope to increase our product range in the next few months.

How do you manage to juggle your business with family life? Has it been challenging?
It is very challenging! With 5 children between us and living 100 miles apart it can be difficult finding the time to get together to make important decisions. Luckily we're sisters, so we tend to trust each other to make any urgent decisions independently if necessary.

Has online networking, specifically with other mums, benefited your business?
It's made all the difference and we've made some really good friends as a result as well.

What resources do you NOT have now that might make your life easier?
We have a minimal advertising budget, so spreading the word is a constant job.

What advice would you give another mum considering starting her own business?
Go for it! Be prepared though for lots of hard work and don't beat yourself up if you make some mistakes along the way. Don't expect instant results, things take time.
