 Hooray Hooray Party People
Home based Income Opportunity

Description of Company:

PartyPeople is part of HoorayHooray Ltd, an established provider of music and music classes within pre-schools across Southern England. The company was established in April 2006 by former nursery manager and mother of two, Clare Greenwood. Since then she has built up a team of teachers for whom party entertainment is a sideline of their pre-school work and the popularity of her party format has led her to offer it on licence as an exclusive part-time business opportunity.

Work Description:

Being a Party Person is all about earning money whilst having lots of fun! The parties are generally offered to children from around 2-7 years and have a traditional feel which is proving refreshingly different. Using tried and tested resources and suggested party formats for different ages, the Party Person markets their service and carries out the party entertainment.

Average hours per week:

The number of hours worked is determined by the licensee and by the times at which parties are required – generally weekends. This business opportunity is therefore one which appeals to individuals looking for a part-time income to fit around their other commitments, be they family or work oriented. Additional income can be generated during school hours by offering parties to pre-schools and toddler groups, with Christmas being an excellent time for a lucrative boost

Investment required:

The initial licence fee and comprehensive high quality starter kit is currently on offer for £750 and, as PartyPeople is not a franchise, there are no on-going royalty fees. For a quarterly administration charge you will receive dedicated webspace on the HoorayHooraywebsite and a business email account.
A minimal level of working capital is required as licensees set their own hourly rate into which any costs can be incorporated

Ongoing Financial Commitment:

Quarterly admin charge and yearly licence renewal - details on application.  Business costs such as public liability insurance to be arranged at licensee's discretion and bi-annual CRB check

Earning Potential:

With a suggested hourly rate of £75-£100 the earning potential for this part-time business is outstanding. Just two parties per week at the lowest suggested rate brings in £7,800 per annum and out-goings are minimal.  Remember this level of earnings would be achieved in just 2 hours per week!

Experience Required:

Experience of entertaining young children is essential but this could be in the sense of playing with/organising parties for your own children. A bubbly personality is a must, as is the confidence to 'perform' in front of a group. Basic office skills and access to the internet are needed for the administration of the business

Training & Support:

Training takes the form of a comprehensive instruction manual and demonstration DVD. Licensees work through this material at their own speed, determining when they are ready to start marketing their business. As PartyPeople  is not a franchise licensees are responsible for running their own business but the quarterly administration charge covers them for online support and a newsletter with business advice

Car Required:

A full clean driving license and use of a vehicle is required to travel to and from venues. The kit fits into a small car and can be easily carried by one person

Storage Required:

Internal storage is required for a party box, kit bag and CD player. Much of the business administration can be dealt with via the internet so minimal office space is required, although use of a PC is essential

Additional information:

Licensees will be required to be submitted for CRB Enhanced Disclosure upon initial application (cost included in Start up kit) and bi-annually at their own expense

Alison Mears - Eastleigh

‘I love my day job but, as it’s part-time to fit around my family, I really appreciate the extra income my Hooray Hooray parties bring in and have great fun doing them.

I’ve entertained children of all ages and it is so rewarding to be part of their special day.  The letters of thanks from parents are the icing on the cake.’

‘Thank-you Alison for the wonderful entertainment you provided at Alice's party.  I received plenty of compliments from the parents who were very impressed to see you hold the attention of all the children for the whole hour’.
