She has over 20 years experience as a business analyst and investment manager –so she’s your very own “Dragon without a den”. She’s been running her own small businesses for 7 years so really understands the ups and downs of running a business on a day to day basis.
She has also developed a strategic business planning course from a practical rather than a bank point of view which she has kindly offered as a prize to the winner of the MumsClub competition.

Rachel Bloom is a busy Mum with a 2 year old daughter (plus 2 part time step sons). She has been successfully self employed and running several of her own businesses for 10 years. Currently building a web based business, la fee noire selling Designer Maternity & New Mum clothing & accessories ( petite 6 to plus 32) and is also a Specialist recruitment consultant (Head-hunter) for the cosmetics and luxury goods industries.
She manages her time expertly, loves being busy and admires others who do the same. She hopes to see entrants juggling work and motherhood with the same vigeur!

Antonia Chitty has been advising mumpreneurs on business promotion since she started ACPR after the birth of her daughter in 2002. Antonia’s diverse career has encompassed work in the voluntary sector and the media.
She now combines running ACPR with writing books on parenting and business topics. Her new book, The Mumpreneur Guide, is due out later this year.

Pauline Adams, owner of tees online and kiddie tees , is one of MumsClub’s valued ‘resident experts’. She’s a great supporter of all mumpreneurs and has a motivational comment for every occasion! Pauline has plenty of experience both as employee and since having children, working for herself. She came up with the innovative idea of the Big Brother t-shirt for her son when she was expecting her 2nd baby, and now runs a thriving business printing big brother/little sister t-shirts, maternity slogan tees, and promotional clothing. She is full of energy, lots of fun and is great at spotting unusual and innovative marketing ideas.

Having worked as as professional website developer since leaving school, Carol Beck’s main areas of expertise are website design & development and online marketing. The birth of her first son in late 2005 inspired her to start her first business, Babywear Exchange.
Since then, she’s branched out in various directions and now focuses on designing and producing her own range of personalised gifts, marketed through her website Fresh Look Gifts. Now a mum of two pre-school children, she’s also gained a lot of experience in the fine art of balancing family life and business life!

Gemma Johnson, Co-founder of the BaBeeCard "Pay-As-You-Go" MasterCard for mums and mums-to-be which she set up when she was just 5 months pregnant.
She has 3 years experience in the prepaid industry and is also the founder of Johnson & Co Fine Tailors which is a visiting tailors service in London for men and women, offering bespoke and made-to-measure suits and shirts.
Underpinning these ventures is a Masters Degree in Management Studies.

Nicky Chisholm is the Founder and owner of mums in biz Biz, which runs business start up seminars that focus on issues that affect busy mums. Nicky has been a Business Advisor for the last 5 years and specialises in working with pre start and start up business run by women. Her current projects include working with Brighton and Hove Chamber of Commerce establishing networking events and collaborating with Sussex Style Magazine to survey the “Mumtrepreneurs” in Sussex. Nicky will be appearing on stage at the Sussex Enterprise Annual Conference in October. Nicky has two children and also works as volunteer Business mentor for the Princes Trust, Young Enterprise and Start up Co.

Elaine Player is 26 years of age and has been running her own business since she was 23 after the birth of her first daughter. She found her first company a great challenge, as she suffers from severe dyslexia yet managed to every job required including the website and advertising. She overcame a huge lack of confidence to be able to visit potential clients and go on to win their contracts. After falling pregnant she needed something less physically demanding so her current business was born. Fizzy Melon has grown to be a very successful online shop for perfect gifts for mums, babies and dads alike, Elaine is looking to expand later this year into actual premises and move into party planning baby showers.

GLYNIS KOZMA - Glynis is a professional coach who works with clients wishing to change careers, have a better work-life balance, or build new businesses. She has inspired and motivated many mums to both establish and develop their businesses.
Previously in education and recruitment, Glynis now owns her own coaching practice in Hertfordshire, aspire-coaching, for clients who can see her in person, but coaches across the UK by phone and email. She has two children both at university.

Camilla Braidwood has a degree in economics and marketing and worked in investment banking for several years. She longed to do something more creative and eventually left the city to pursue her photography hobby as a career.
The birth of her daughter inspired her to start Milly Bee,as she struggled to find pictures with which to decorate her nursery.

Claire Willis is a mum to two children, and the owner of SnugBaby. Originally a qualified Dispensing Optician, she discovered babywearing after the birth of her second son, and decided to design and make her own brand of mei tai carriers, which she now sells through her website, snugbaby.
Claire has been successfully running her business for the past 8 months, and is enjoying the challenges of being a self employed work-at-home businessmum, which she talks about in her blog. She also regularly contributes to Bambino Goodies, a leading baby products blog, as well as participating in several online communities promoting babywearing in the UK.

Sarah Barnard, Author and online store owner of Ethics Trading has been running her own business for 5 years.
Sarah runs Ethics Trading from home and around family life. She has been writing the ‘Portal Series’ since 2005 and has self published after deciding that print on demand technology is more eco friendly than conventional publishing.
She has no formal qualifications in either field but says she has “oodles of experience!”
