What are the key features of the products or services that your business offers:
Designer maternity and new mum clothing, sizes 6 to 32

Why should customers and clients use your services?
Unusual and imported designs, including US favourite Mamablack Denim! Head turning styles for the glamorous! Free UK P&P

When & how did you start up in business?
Officially January but the idea has been growing over the last few years. Styles suitable for Mum-to-be and new Mum and many crossing over the two!

How did you decide what business to go into, and what was your motivation?
A lack of edgy styles when i was pregnant with my baby girl! I like to wear clothes that no-one else has and also  believe Maternity clothes should be funky as well as functional

What were the most challenging aspects to setting up?
Sourcing the best styles in the UK...overseas offer more variety and fabric choices. I know have suppliers all over the world, some of whom make clothing bespoke for me so ensuring my customers get that point of difference

What has been your biggest business achievement?
I am in the process of launching a unique patented Maternity item...cant say too much but watch this space!!!

Have, or do you do anything out of the ordinary to benefit your business?
As just mentioned..watch this space on that one!

What stage is your business at now & what are your plans for the future?
Still in growth phase and always learning ..plan to build a loyal customer base and watch the sales soar

How do you manage to juggle your business with family life? Has it been challenging?
Always challenging with 3 kids, one under 5 to entertain the most! I enjoy being busy. I also have several properties which need management , run the site and I am a recruitment consultant for the Luxury goods industry too..no rest for the wicked!!

How has online networking, specifically with other mums, benefited your business?
So so, not sure much actual revenue generated but networking is always worthwhile

What resources do you NOT have now that might make your life easier?
A spare pair of hands??!!lol

What advice would you give another mum considering starting her own business?
Only embark on something you genuinely enjoy! Love what you do and it is more likely to succeed. I love fashion and buy to my tastes so its a pleasure when others like my styles!
