What are the key features of the products or services that your business offers:
handpicked quality products tried and tested on our own kids too! Some are even picked by my own daughters.
Quality children’s fancy dress costumes, nightwear and accessories.

Why should customers and clients use your services?
Friendly customer service and always prepared to go that extra mile for each and every customer. Quality products at a fair price and a no quibble money back policy if not 100% satisfied

When & how did you start up in business?
Started in 2006, initially working from home. Opened first bricks and mortar shop and expanded in April 2007.

How did you decide what business to go into, and what was your motivation?
I have always had a passion for clothes, and have a background in fashion design and industry, but my youngest two daughters passion for dressing up was the real motivation that got me started!

What were the most challenging aspects to setting up?
Sourcing new suppliers and finding designs I was happy with.

What has been your biggest business achievement?
opening my first shop!

What stage is your business at now & what are your plans for the future?
We are running two websites from the shop as we expanded into dance wear also. We have been working on our own designs since last year with final products due to launch hopefully this year.

How do you manage to juggle your business with family life? Has it been challenging?
Oh yes! But the children are all involved in someway or another.

Has online networking, specifically with other mums, benefited your business?
This has been a great source of not only support and advice but inspiration too

What resources do you NOT have now that might make your life easier?
More machinists to get our products made faster! Currently there is only myself and a very talented local dressmaker hence the length of time it is taking in launching our first range

What advice would you give another mum considering starting her own business?
Research, research, research then go for it!
