The Business and Baby Show is the UK’s first ever work from home show...
This unique event will provide a wealth of information for those looking to create a livelihood from home, with particular emphasis on family friendly options that enable a parent to juggle business with family life.
The event will be attended by stay at home mums looking for a second income, women who are considering their career options after taking time out to raise families and women who are looking to come out of their corporate roles to find flexible employment; post maternity options and how to be a Mumpreneur.
There will also be an opportunity to stock up your own online or high street shop or if you’re new to business you’ll be inspired by our role models inMumpreneur Alley.
Jane Hopkins is the founder of mumsclub, the UK’s first and only business club for mums.
She has won a number of business awards and has launched several successful initiatives that actively support mums in business; she is responsible for the mumsclub network of Mumpreneurs, The Business Mum’s Journal, over 20 regional business clubs, the annual PR Challenge, National Business Mum Week and has provided annual business mum awards since 2008.
She was recently invited to Downing Street to meet and be congratulated by the Prime Minister for her work in the Mumpreneur community and is now stepping up her work to reach and inspire more stay at home mums into business, with this, the Business and Baby Show.
This is just a few more members of the team. Pictured with Jane is Donna Pinnell; a ‘mumpreneur extraodinaire’. Donna is a huge supporter of mums in business, has 15 years recruitment experience, runs her own online gift boutique (little lily pad) and is never far from a tweet.
To the left of Donna is Jean Maund who is an amazingly knowledgeable and talented lady. Jean knows everything about websites, SEO and generally running a business. Whatever you need to know, just ask jean.
On the far right is the fabulous lifestyle coach Lisa Bakerhassled to happy coaching who has steered the mumsclub helm through some sticky panic stricken waters. We all need a life coach, Lisa is one of the best.

Business Mum Week 2011 The Business and Baby Show is the launch event for National Business Mum Week
This one week in the year dedicated to mums in business, perfectly timed in October, giving time for the kids to settle in at school and for mums to put everything in place to get back to business and go full steam ahead. Events are planned nationwide, and come November we’ll see the creation of many more mum owned businesses...
Venue & Location
We have carefully selected Cranmore Park in Solihul as this year’s venue. It is a purpose built exhibition hall with 2500 sqm floor space, conveniently located close the the M6 and M42 and is just 10 minutes from Birmingham NEC. Along with restaurants and ample free parking, it is the perfect Midlands venue.
